Wondering if there any drivers out there crushing it? Are you making any real living? What about the tips, are they usually good or bad? I’m asking because I don’t see much of any social media I been following. I know those who have a bad experience are more likely to take a min to go online to complain and share their thoughts. Meanwhile those who are having good experiences are less likely to share. So Happy Uber Drivers… anything to share? Or maybe know some insight why some drivers are not happy and quit?

I’m somewhat retired, and recently my car timing belt blew, and damaged the motor. I decided a new (used) car was the best answer, so I got a loan from my Credit Union, and bought a car. Which ruined my budget. It started 10 years ago, I started driving for a few months when I was between jobs. 10 hours on two mornings per week, puts my budget back on track. It’s a nice change from my ‘day job’s which involves zero contact with other people. So I could say I’m happy with driving ride-shares. But as others have said, I wouldn’t try doing it for a full-time job. Also on the side note, I mostly do Lyft since I like the app better than uber.
